ORGANIZATION BACK GROUND

ROADS acronym for Rural Organization of Awareness Development Service . It was established in the year 1999, with the support of the stakeholders, Dalit communities, and weaker section of Nalgonda district. ROADS organization was registered under Societies registration Act 1350 Falsie Telengana Region, with registration number 2669 / 1999.

ROADS organization working with different sectors of the community, Women and children development, disables people, working with who are living with HIV/AIDS people ( Children’s, Men ,women’s ),conducted awareness programs on different activities , working with Agriculture farmers. And it has been working among schedule caste, Schedule Tribes, and socio political economic backward communities of the society.

The ROADS organization strives towards friendly empowerment of the youth students, women, and rights based perspectives.

MISSIOIN:

The ROADS endeavors to promote dignity and equity among all communities banking on the organized efforts of all downtrodden population with the support of civil society organization and intellectuals.

OPERATIONAL AREA OF ROADS ORGANIZATION:

Our NGO, ROADS involved in the development of more than 40,,000 geographical community belongs 200 villages in 5 Districts of Andhra Pradesh, INDIA, Nalgonda, Medak ,Rangareddy, Karimnagar and Mehabubnagar and few urban slums of RangaReddy and Hyderabad districts, major concentration is rural population.

TARGET GROUP:

Besides concentrating on the vulnerable, sectors of the society namely women, Girl, Children, Dalit , Tribal, Bahujan, Minority People, Socially backward people HIV/AIDS & TB Infected and effected , Fisher Community and Affected People.

OBJECTIVES:

• To Promote the inclusive and exclusive education

ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY:

The organization has well versed experience and expertise in dealing with community development issues ranging from awareness generation to infra structure development. Since the year 1999 as part of the organization’s regular awareness activities, the organization has been involved in awareness on public health issues like Polio, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Dengu, Pailaria, STDs,STISs and HIV/AIDS, Child Marriages. Fight for SC’s and ST ‘s Rights, women and child rights, health ,sanitation. To disseminate information on developmental issues and to generate awareness and awareness on different sectors of AGRICULTURE filed ‚SARI PADI cultivation ,NPM methods, ORGANIC formation etc. Organization has been using various communication tools .The 13 years of experience in the social development sector ,our confidence in dealing with social development issues. Our organization has successfully implemented all the under taken activities.
